Great looking razor. Looking forward to seeing in SOTD.
I have been eyeing those NOS Japanese blades and am envious. Is it a 6/8?

13/16 is standard for Japanese blades

Very nice David I very much look forward to honing the razor and 13/16 are by far the favoured size for many Japanese razors.

    One man's 13/16 is another's 6/8.

If I may, I think he means that some measure from where the hone contacts the spine to the very edge. Some measure from the top of the spine to the very edge. Hence,a razor which measures 6/8 in the former manner will measure 13/16 (usually) in the latter.
