I cleaned up the pivot a bit more and refined the finish on the tail. It looks fantastic in person. I also got all the crud out from in the scales. Only thing left for me to do is very gently tighten the pivot since it lost tension once I took away the rust and gunk. Laid it on a coti just to see what it is like in that regard. It is pretty consistent as far as hone contact from side to side, but it will require a rolling stroke for even coverage. Not what I would call a great razor for beginners to hone, but I don't think it will be a pig either.
