I wish I could find one for about $10. What would that be like, armed robbery??
That label is very good condition. Hard to believe how old it is. I like seeing the claims/descriptions on the packages and advertisements of the time.
I think sometimes everyone assumes the price is going to go really high on a certain item, so they don't even bother.
Interesting. I would have thought the water would have gotten behind it and made it start bubbling. If it has been working for you, that's great. I'll have to remember that in case I ever come across an Escher in my price range.

Compared to my other two, which I now believe to be blue and a black, this one is very light, yellow green, and very soft compared to the other two. Beautiful stone, just finished lapping it:
