The big old piece of ivory. I will make scales. The vendor thought it was bone So i got it very cheap.

Thanked: 315Man, you had a good day! Wish I could find some ivory or mammoth tusk to put away for future project. Stuff is too expensive for me to buy at retail right now. I wonder what the hole in it was for.
Are both sides of the scales in good shape? Any insect damage? Looks pretty solid. Great razor by the way. I ruined a great set of old horn scales making a newbie mistake, so I appreciate horn scales in good condition even more now!
