Your collection has grown a lot over the last few years. I think about two years ago you posted pictures of your barber shop display. Any chance of the happening again. I hope my collection does not just get sold off without care for it when my days come to pass. Most of us put a lot of time and effort into our collections. Those mugs should make a pretty impressive display in your shop.

You will need to find a new Barber shop building soon to fit the huge collection you have. Possibly the size of a WalleyMart
    Josh'es Mega Shop
For a haircut just go down isle #3 turn left at the mugs, proceed past the brush kiosk and have a seat.
    Har!!!

Did he mention who got the rest of the straights? I wonder if it was an eBay seller , those guys are really starting to hoard up ,, and from what you got he must have been a discriminating collector , I didn't see any junk there. Tc

This guy took the razors to Brimfield Mass, if I'm not mistaken, there is a huge antique meet there a few times per year. That's where he sold all of them to 1 dude! I have to say, he gave me a great deal on the mugs so I'm sure the man who got the straights is still grinning ear to ear! We all know mugs and brushes are collectable and desirable but the razors are what us guys scarf up like there's no tomorrow.

Well, I was to Brimfield a couple weeks ago.... Sorry I missed out on that....But would never have had the cash for all of them anyway. I came away from the show with a good mix of stuff anyway.Name: P5170794.jpg

Killer haul there vert! Is Brimfield a great antique market. I hear a lot about it from one of my customers who collects antique cut glass.

Now i like how you think and you're probably right but I'd rather have my tiny shop that's just oozing and overflowing with razors, motorcycle stuff, guns, knives, and Americana out the ying yang! You guys can understand that, right?

as tragic as it sounds, if your collection is fairly substantial you could always will it to another collector.
