When I honed this one I also re-honed a 4/8 and a 5/8 Wade and Butcher. Really I just touched up the edges on these two. well tonight I set in. I took a hot shower (and it's not even Saturday) and used a good hot towel made a good lather with Sandalwood soap started my test shaves with these razors. first the 5/8 and it did good. then the 4/8 and there was a little difference it took a little more pressure because of its size. then the 7/8. The 7/8 cut the beard with almost no pressure. it seemed to glide over the skin cutting what in front of the edge with little to no effort. I do believe this one is a keeper. but then again most wade and butchers are.
