Nice crisp angles on the tang, clean clear stamping, no pitting or rust, scales in very good shape, and no hone wear? You don't have to wonder if you made a good buy!

I received the razor today and it really looks good. The only thing I found was that it was advertised as 15/16 and it turned out to be 7/8. For some folks this might have been a problem but the razor looks so good that I really don't care. I used blitz on it and cleaned with soft scrub and hot water and drowned in alcohol. i'm in the process of honing now and since I shaved this morning it'll be a couple of days before I know how it will shave.

I looked at the blade closely. I couldn't tell if it had been honed before. It took a while to set the bevel I thought I would have to go to the 400 grit but I finely got it. the rest of the process went rather good. 3-5-8-12 and finished on the 20K. now I just have to wait on the whiskers.

I could shave twice a day, there's enough growth to justify it. If I shave just before I leave for work at 6am then before dinner at 6pm I'd still be mowing stubble. Have to overcome inertia though
