    That is gorgeous. Scales in ivory would only compliment the etching. Thanks for sharing!

    Wow, simply amazing, I hope you can match it up with some equally gorgeous scales. Any thoughts on why the blade is so elaborately etched? Maybe for some exhibition show or a custom piece for a special client like some duke or earl?

    I doubt you will see another like it. I certainly never have. For the age of it, it seems to have a somewhat more modern shape. ....Better start working on ScienceGuy!
