    I've seen a few of those but haven't tried one. Is the shorter handle an issue?
    The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

    Try an Israeli Personna. They work great in the old ones, to me. Also last me a lot longer than Feathers, IMO.

    Very pretty, and should be an excellent shaver. When you're putting it together, don't screw the handle on too tight -- usually just snug -- the more you tighten it, the more aggressive the blade angle becomes. Yes, I discovered this the hard way...

    I hadn't thought of that, I'll back off the tension and see if that helps.

    Thanks for the suggestions on blades Gents. I'll order some and try them.

    Nice set, may I ask where you found it? Also, pretty much any blade will be less aggressive than a Feather, them babies are somethin' sharp.
