That's funny.
No, unfortunately these clubs don't exist. (I think).
As said, we have a local Dutch auction site and then there's a Belgian 2nd hand auction site.
With a frequency of one GB every 6 to 10 months, they're rare in our country too.
And again, even if they do show up, they're often in bad shape or too small.
This was a lucky one by any means.
I'll try to stay away from shaving with this blade at full moon now though...

As promised, some pictures after the clean-up.
I didn't take it very far.
I think grit 240 sandpaper was about as course as it got.
A blade of this age doesn't need to be squeaky clean and spotless in my opinion.
It's okay to show its age and that's why I didn't want to sand all the way through until the pitting would be gone.
Micro Mesh cloths to finish and also not over-polish the scales.
Pictures are from before I put it to the hones.

Wow...cleaned up pretty nice.
Hone that baby and shave with it!
Is it over there or over yonder?

I admire your decision to let its character and age remain. Razors like this deserve to show the years they have acquired!
Hone it up and enjoy!

Like how you have brought it back and kept the character.
We now want to know how it honed and shaved...
That and if you where able to pile all the lather from one pass on that shovel sized blade?
