    Chevhead, I think the acrylic is the thing to do. The Marconi I acquired awhile back, well, I got it out the other night to look at it & as soon as I opened it, I heard a small snap. I looked at it & the scales now have a crack in them at the pivot pin. I would like to find some butterscotch looking acrylic to make some scales from one day.

    I would think there has to be a way to make a custom blend of colors.
    I'm 100% sure there is a thread on here that someone mixes up custom type arylic for brushes. Just can't remember who it was....

    Well, there is always this. But then again, shipping might be excessive.
