Size: 57.0 KB I hope this one looks as good in had and in photos. i like the scales and the small spots should polish out good. I've never heard of the brand but it's a sheffield so it can't be that bad. the edge looks straight enough and should hone up good. I need to fiend a job so l'll have less time for the computer.

I want know until it gets here but from what I see it's either bone or ivory. hope it's not bone. I couldn't see any of those little dots at the end or any where so there's hope.

I'd bet the scales are ivory.

I'm no ivory expert, but the one I have is very, very thin just like this one. I feel if it were bone it would be a lot thicker.

I'm betting on Ivory judging by the grain looking effect, I haven't seen that in bone. Looks like a really decent razor and being its a Sheffield should shave really well.

I had a W&B that had thin bone scales and they bowed out a little allowing the blade to protrude ever so slightly out the bottom of the scales which I didn't think was very safe. I added a third pin which solved the problem.

    Good luck finding a job...........

I think the C Congreves had collars also. I hope this one is easier to hone than the Congreves. it was hard.
