Thanked: 3215Yup, Spanish cedar, no need to seal the interior.
I am actually in the process of doing the same thing with a vintage cigar box.
You have enough room to store, 3 stacking, 1 inch boxes and 12-14 razors on edge. I am doing mine with foam core, ¼ inch for the bottom and sides and 1/8 in for dividers allowing about ½ in for each razor. Or you could store the razors flat getting 6-7 per layer and making more and thinner boxes.
Foam core comes in colors and can be lined with wood veneer, fabric or paper, wall paper would be cool. I use a paper cutter to cut the foam core, I have both a large guillotine and rotary cutter. They work exceptionally well for repeating cuts or you could use a sharp utility knife and straight edge.
I plan on leaving mine plain, using flat black foam and paper.

If I may,....a cigar box and a cigar humidor are two totally different animals .
Although a humidor could be described as a cigar box, a cigar box is not a humidor.
Simply put, cigars are shipped in cigar boxes and stored in humidors.
Thank you for allowing me to clarify.S.L.A.M.,.......SHAVE LIKE A MAN!!!

he's absolutely correct. generally, with this type of humidor, they need to be seasoned before use. if you just put your cigars in, the cedar will pull all the moisture from the cigars and you will have done the opposite of what you originally hoped to accomplish.
try and get matching wood to make your dividers and you'll be styling.instagram - @suckerpunch_daycare
