Clauss are very good razors, cool find thanks for sharing. Possibly some early form of VCI paper, I think it came out in the 30s and 40s. http://www.amazon.com/Daubert-Cromwe.../dp/B00C7XQXAE

This would be my guess, too. I have heard of old-timers using cigarette paper for stopping nicks from bleeding, as it absorbs moisture but will not come apart like tissue paper. Old-timers?

It's probably a book written in invisible ink. Just hold it over a candle for a few minutes and you can read a story about a man and a horse, or maybe a fluffy bunny or something.

Here is a newspaper article citing the use of cigarette papers as a clotting aid.

Cool article Charlie! I read it & scrolled to the bottom to try & figure out the "Jumble".

Nice score 4freek. The coffin looks similar to a Torrey coffin...............some of them.

I've had pieces of it included with metal things I've purchased, something for a computer the last time, and that's the color and texture for sure.
