Thread: Blue Steel twins

Pair of Blue Steel razors I fell in love with. I probably over paid a bit for them but it was one of those deals I was so attached I had to. The leather case is shot all to heck but the razors IMO are beautiful. I think the scales are horn/ivory(I figured you guys would know better than me)? Anyways, I thought I would share. Thanks for looking.

They would be worth having a new leather case made if it's completely shot as the the scales , I,m not real sure but probably bone ,, clean them up and enjoy nice pair. Tc

Yup, my guess is that the scales are bone too. Nice pair that should clean up easy and take a good edge. You could try using Neats Foot oil on the old case to try and revive it if you want. Alternately the old case will serve as a good pattern for someone to make up a new replica leather case for you. Really nice project to work on.
