Blue Steel twins
Pair of Blue Steel razors I fell in love with. I probably over paid a bit for them but it was one of those deals I was so attached I had to. The leather case is shot all to heck but the razors IMO are beautiful. I think the scales are horn/ivory(I figured you guys would know better than me)? Anyways, I thought I would share. Thanks for looking.

They would be worth having a new leather case made if it's completely shot as the the scales , I,m not real sure but probably bone ,, clean them up and enjoy nice pair. Tc

Nice score.
From the pics the scales look like bone.If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 3225Yup, my guess is that the scales are bone too. Nice pair that should clean up easy and take a good edge. You could try using Neats Foot oil on the old case to try and revive it if you want. Alternately the old case will serve as a good pattern for someone to make up a new replica leather case for you. Really nice project to work on.

Well they are here and they are better than I could have ever imagined. Glen gets the credit for the photos, he took them.
What a cool experience. Glen called me and we ended up talking for an hour or so about everything from guns, old neighborhoods, night clubs and of course razors. I thought it was pretty cool he took time out of his day to talk to me.
The razors turned out amazing and the pictures don't do it justice. He re-blued them, honed them and did quit a bit of blade work and helped me with the scale decisions(I am sure it was more than that but thats what I know for sure....lol). The edge is as good as it gets and for some reason my face prefers his edge over others I have had hone razors. Not to say others are bad, I just prefer his. Without going into private business details Glen certainly treated me more than fair and I thank him for that. Thanks Glen. Hopefully these stay in my family for years to come and my son can use them someday.
