Cheap? That's a value judgement... I'd say yes. I tried to dicker with the old guy, but he stuck to his price. I got all four, one in a correct box, and the sheffield without a box for $35.00.

Outside flea markets are the best. When a vendor has to haul in, set up, and haul away their wares. They have incentive to sell. Different that the folks that set up their indoor stalls and stay for years.

Nice. They all still have crisp lines and should clean up very well. I long for a highway trip with antique shops and flea markets.

Haggling is part of the hunt.
Heres a little trick that works quite offen.
Find a guy/gal that has a razor mixed in with other stuff on the table. Look it over real good, then put it back and walk away. Keep an eye on him in case he starts packin up early. When he does start packin it in, walk into his booth and ask if they might have any straights. Then haggle him down.
They usually will bend on the price, especially if they haven't had a decent day.
Got these for $20, he wanted $20 each.

I bought my share of not so good vintage straights early on. Now I can see thru the patina and seek ones with better potential.

may I ask what flea market you were at? I'm in WV quite often, and hit many of the antique shops in the Northern part of the state, and along I 79
