    Can't see any reason why she wouldn't clean up nicely. I would try some polish first and see if that works, no sense sanding if it isn't needed. Since it doesn't seem to have any hone wear it should hone up fairly easily and Henckels make fantastic shavers.

    I have tackled blades a lot worse. Looks like a good shaver.

    It will turn out nice. There is something weird about the heel. I am sure you will spot what as soon as you have it in hand. I recognize the pictures, but that seller does not ship reasonably to Canada so I never look at his ads because occasionally it makes me sad. It is nice you have a new project to do while you are stuck around the house more than you like.

    You should have plenty of time to work on it with this snow that is supposed to hit us tonight and tomorrow..........

    000 steelwool & WD40, 1k paper & some good polish on the blade and scales.

    Nice find, Yea that will clean up nice.

    I'd try some Maas or Mothers first & if that doesn't do it, then move forward. It might be me but it looks like it has a slight frown to it but even if it does, its a nice catch. I've seen some Henckels going cheap lately. What I see is probably the same thing Rezdog is talking about. I guess you'll know when you get it. I'd have it. None of my Henckels are that wide!

    That should clean up very nice with 0000 steel wool and metal polish
