    Default One month with SRAD

There is nothing weird about getting up on a Saturday morning, laying out all your razors, taking pics of every razor related item you own, and posting them online for a totally random group of dudes to look at and comment on.. simply because we all like to remove the hair from our face with unnervingly sharp objects.

If you asked me about straight razors one month ago i would have responded with something like "you mean that thing from that creepy Johnny Depp movie with the chick from Fight Club?".

    Things have changed..

    Here's the damage.

Antique stores, ebay, and the Dovo from Lynn.

    My soap collection.. so lame.

And of course one brush was not enough.

That's one month? Oh man, you've got it bad. We're not random dudes though. We all have the same disorder.

Yep, I predict next year you will be getting that many razors in single lots and your shop/apartment will have a roll up door :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I have a gut feel that your shelf space will need expanding from the soaps you will be purchasing in the not too distant future.

you have it bad! it must stop now or it will only get worse! the only cure is to send all your razors to me (a licensed RAD therapist) and i will dispose of them properly.(It's the only way to get rid of the guilt).

Luckily for me my little brother is moving down south this spring. We have a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in a single story building so i'm definitely moving the workshop in there. The attached bath will be the honing room, and his room will be turned into 'Matty's Metal Shop and Straight Razor Emporium"..

    I already ordered the sign.

My current AD is the jnats.. I've been reading everything i can find about them. So dangerous to have a very disposable tax return on the way and a very strong desire to have a Karasu pattern finisher resting just in front of my katana. It would be the finishing touch to my dojo style bedroom and possibly the end of my current relationship.

To quote King Willie.. 'Ain't no stoppin' what can't be stopped.
