I'd rather drink muddy water, and sleep in a hollow log, than go to Jersey City, and be treated like a dirty dog .......... old blues song
Cheetah, of course it is hard to tell from photos, but I think that edge is going to be alright. Tape the spine with one layer of electrical tape.
Get some 600 grit, and 1k grit wet & dry at the auto parts. Watch Lynn or gssixgun's videos. Just do enough to get down to good metal.Last edited by JimmyHAD; 02-11-2016 at 02:48 AM.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Actually I was still in NYC. I walked form 52nd ST. to World Trade Center. 8.16 miles. I burned about 1100 calories. Great exercise by the way while scrubbing the Greaves. Using the length of my headphone cable, I tied a knot around the tang to secure it. Just in case I tripped, I didn't want to be that guy trying to explain that I just paid 500 for a razor and tripped walking down the street and destroyed the razor as I was cleaning it.

Jersey City is awesome. All of the people who can't afford to live in Manhattan or Brookyln are coming here. Gentrification at its finest. Now I have overpriced razors to stir my overpriced coffee with.
I should actually have some 3M automotive wet/dry sand paper here. When I get a sec I will continue to clean her up. Thank you Jimmy. You are one of the few sane people left on this thread. Others have resorted to posting pots, pans and kitchen utensils

Had a great friend who lived in Chatham New Jersey, Canuck friend of mine who married the daughter of a General in the US Army...one of the most awesome experiences in my life going to that wedding, small chapel in NJ - and the reception and dinner at the West Point Officer's Club, and stayed at the hotel on the premises...spent quite a lot of time looking at the paintings around the place - was a life experience.
Ohhh...and learned one lesson...never, ever, ever go more than 5 mph on the base, they really mean that's the speed limit! That's how I met some MP's who reminded me of that....
