Default Schick Ever Sharp injector razor

Did not have an injector razor in my rotation so I picked this one up because I liked the blue handle. Near as I can tell it is a G4 Schick 66 made 1946 to 1955. Now all I have to do is oerder in some injector blades.

Good pick. I have a newer (1960s) Schick injector in my den for those days when i am in a hurry. For blades I recommend Ted Pella blades, available from several places. Here's one: Ted Pella Single Edge Injector Blades, 20-pack | Maggard Razors - Straight Razor Restoration, Custom Scales and Wet Shaving Products

Nice Bob, have passed on a few over the last 4 years. Regretting it now.

Don't be too quick on the regrets. Getting injector blades is like getting SE blades in Canada, strictly order in. So you are stuck with a $5.00 razor that takes $1.00 a piece blades after exchange and shipping. The things we do for our hobby, EH.

Still cheaper than carts and the amount of razors you have it will come up in rotation every 10 years...

Got one like that one but with Ivory colored handle instead of blue, even got a case with it that is in pretty good condition. Does nice work when in a hurry. You can get a 7 pack of New Schick Chromium blades on the bay for less that $10 shipped, cheaper if you buy more than one pack.

That might be I the US bit I don't think you get free shipping up here, could be wrong though. The is still the money exchange no matter what you do. I think the exchange rate is about $1.25 Canadian for every US dollar exchanged so that adds up pretty quick.

I ordered 2 packs of blades from Maggards mid afternoon and a few hours later received an email saying they were shipped and what the tracking number was. I have to say that is some pretty impressive service to get an order out that quick. Kudos to Maggards.

Back in the '60s, maybe early '70s I switched from DE to the Schick injectors and loved them. Something about the angle of the blade. I was much less likely to get nicks with the Schick than with the Gillettes. The old Schick blades were great too. I haven't had one since then, but a guy I know shaves with them and the Ted Pella blades and is very happy with the combination.
