Default 1830s John Brown in carved ivory

I picked this one up on ebay with no other bidders. It's a sweet smaller razor at about 5/8, and the artistic working on the blade and scales really stand out. Just finishing honing it up.

Another beauty, not often the ivory survives without a crack near the pin.

What unbelievable old world craftsmanship that razor illustrates. The scales are phenomenal, but I just took a closer look at the grind on that blade. At first glance I thought it was a frameback. It is also a great example of the art of the old world
