    I learned to shave with a Fat Boy and would very much like to find one at a price like that just for the memories aspect. Nice find.

    Too much of a pita to send it out for plating cross border for me. She is a good user as is. I think I remember ready that they were referred to as the 195 model because the retail was $1.95 back then. So I think you are right, not much more than pocket change even back then.

    IIRC, I learned on one of those also in the late 60s. I'll keep you in mind if I run across another at that kind of price point.

    I've had a fatboy since I was 19. 46 now. The plating is worn off on the head. Haven't used it since I took up straights. But would never get rid of it. Sentimental or just mental I guess. Never thought of it as unique. Just liked it more than the craptastic plastic ones. My father has used one his whole adult life. So that's what I got when I started shaving and never considered switching. Ken
