Thanked: 3224Gillette Fat Boy
I have a weakness for these razors and pick one up whenever I think the price is right. It is not mint but decent user condition and came with a 9 pack of Wilkinson sword blades all for $17 USD. I see a travel razor the shaves like the dickens but you don't care if it is stolen. Almost forgot, second quarter 1960 production year.

Thanked: 1Very nice I remember my grandfather shaving with one of these. The quality of the material and of the tool by itself is great. Not so many companies give importance to these things today.

Nice find, Bob!
I really like the weight of the Gillette Adjustable. It's the only DE I use on a regular basis.
Earcutter, nice to see you around.

Thanked: 1081Nice one mate.
The funny thing is if that was NOS it would go for $200ish more. Would it perform any better? I think not.

Thanked: 3224Yes, exactly. I do have a couple of others in much nicer shape, one even has the case it they came in, and I would not want to risk having them stolen on a trip for that reason. Shaved with it this morning and it does shave as well as the nicer ones. Cranked up to 9 they shave as close as anything out there.

Bob I think you have a perfect candidate for replating! You already have another, might want to pretty one up. But great find, it's hard to find them a decent price. And to think the first one I ever bought back in the late sixties was not much more that pocket change. Tc
