Thread: 1st Thiers

I didn't plan to keep it in the leather just showing it off for all to see. This is the 50 something razor in my collection an I don't store any in their cases or pouches.

Yeah I've never seen another one come up so I had to bid sent my best offer an they actually accepted so I got a very good deal.

I want to say these came in around 2004. They were commissioned by the late Ray Dupont of Classic Shaving prior to his death to commemorate SRP being the first Straight Razor and really Wet Shaving forum in the world. We had 200 of them made and they are beautiful shavers. I still have #1. They are pretty special razors!!

An yes they are special being a part of this forum an having one is awesome I will either know later tonight or tomorrow how well it shaves. Now if I could only get my hands on one of the other ones that (Tim Zowanda?) made I would be as happy as a pig in s#!t!!!

There was one in the classifieds a month or two ago (the newer SRP razor)

I saw that at the time, but I didn't have the money for it then so I figured I'd wait an it would be listed again. It wasn't an now I won't be able to purchase it because Memorial Day I injured my back at work an they fired me that Tuesday even though I injured it there. So now I have find a new job or file a suit against them for workcomp an wrongful termination.

It may or may not have much standing but I do know that they fired me an hired one of the big wigs family members in my place and I was assured that when they sent me home on Monday that I was doing an excellent job an me being injured had no ill effects on me keeping my job.

So I left, went directly to the hospital (which they didn't send me too) an they gave me an note to be out of work for Monday an Tuesday, Tuesday I got the call from work that I was fired. So they lied to my face with witnesses an hired one of the managers of the company's brother in my place. So it may hold some in this situation and it may not.
