Default A nice day at the Antiques Fair

I picked up some goodies today.

The straight was in a Joseph Rodgers and Son coffin but wss an Adoration Ax by Giesen and Forsthoff. I have read good things about this razor and it was in good shape. For $10.00, I couldn't pass it up.

    It was a good day[emoji1]

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that the stone is for my knives. It's a Norton India stone. Sorry to get your hopes up[emoji1]

It is. The safety razors are a Fatboy, a 1958 TV Special and a Schick E-2. The brushes are a Made Rite 750 and a Klenzo and they appear to be NOS. The mug is a 1938-41 Old Spice Grand Turk.

That's an excellent stone. I think anyone with a sharpening obsession would be ecstatic to find an India. My hopes are still up. Razors and knives are both my passions.

I hit the monthly Antiques Fair again and found more goodies.
The top straight with the number 26 is a Krusius Brothers "KB Extra". It had the bonus of being in a Wostenholm box that will go with one of my other razors.
The bottom straight as a Union Razor and Cutlery

    It was a fun morning[emoji3]
