Another good day. I like this Antiques Fair. All of this for $62.00.

The two pack of Star wedge blades appear to be NOS.

I was excited by the box. The deal was still good enough to buy the razor.

The find of the day was the Pipe razor. It will clean up nicely.

Better than eBay, and you get to actually look at it too.

Nice finds! You're having great luck, I like that you found them out in the real world, right place at the right time. Very cool!

Thanks. I've noticed that you do well in the wild as well.

I've done pretty good the second half of this summer, but last summer I struck out all the time. You just never know. The winter is usually not great around here for hunting razor stuff though.

I just walked away from this box of eight razors at an antiques store. There were only two that were halfway descent the rest were so-so . I was told the dealer would not consider splitting up the lot so at $145 it was way out of my league. I've been finding them for a heck of a lot cheaper than that lately so, I had to walk. Maybe in a week or two he will consider breaking up the lot.

I picked up a bunch of razors yesterday. Only two were straights.
The Torrey looks like it will clean up fine. The Curley is NOS with the guards and instructions.

Man your Curley has nicer scales than mine, but I guess the Torrey makes up for it.

    Enjoy your finds, my friend.
For the fairs, and flea markets, are almost done for the season.

I can't wait until my Torrey is cleaned up. I hope it looks as nice as yours. How does your Curley shave?

Not too bad, had to use another for around , and inside the goat. But not as close as a normal straight. Though it was the first time using it. It will definitely teach you about proper shaving angles. Too much= no Shave,
    Too little= no shave.
