Ok ok enough is enough! It is time to let that leprechaun you've been holding hostage go! Haha seriously though you have amazing luck and the best honey hole the shaving community has ever seen I reckon. Another great haul!

I'm curious if this brings out the competitive spirit in anyone else? Or is it just r,h,s-ad? [emoji848]

    Enjoy the day,

Yeah, I'm with Mike on that - keep drawing water from that well until it goes dry! My honey hole from last summer has been pretty dry this year (except for a few great hones), no way of explaining it either. Of course I keep looking and putting in the leg work because any day it might just start up again.

Thanks guys. I keep thinking it will dry up,but I seem to find something every month. I quit grabbing the safety razors that always seem to be there as well. It's a lot of fun.

This is what I found at the antiquarian today. For 25 CAD (roughly 20 USD), this is not the find of the century, but I think its a decent starting point to try a restoration and see if I like it or not. A bit of a long-term project.

The blade is smiling and there is a bit of rust on the spine and the pivot. But it looks like the edge only has water marks.
I'm thinking of polishing it away using the (unknown size) green compound. And eventually sharpen it.

I stopped in an an antiques mall by my daughter's house today and found some cool old advertisements. I picked up four of them.

I have one of these tubes, so I had to pick up this one.

A couple of more that I have matching gear for.

I passed on these because I already have two of them, but was a little surprised to see so many in one place.

I'm debating going back and making an offer on this razor tomorrow. They are asking more than I want to pay.

I found this in a shop this morning. It's a Colley & Co Sheffield razor. I've done a little research that tells me it was made between 1833-1844. It looks like it will clean up nicely and I really like the shape of the blade.

The notched tip is quite different. It looks like it can be made serviceable without too much hassle. I can see why you grabbed it. Good hunting in your area.
