You have an antique fair EVERY MONTH?????????? Full of razors every time?
Do you mind telling them to come over to Canada a bit more often? That'd be very much appreciated!

P.S. Let me know if you want to part with some of those finds - I need a razor to practice honing with

Nice finds there! I am going to hit up some antique stores in the next couple weeks because my girls are going to a festival. If I can just hit a small piece of the haul that you found I will be thrilled!

Today was another nice day at the monthly fair. I picked up four razors, one coticule, and a nice vintage CI skillet.

I think this TOP razor might be a JWest but have to do some research. It looks like it will clean up ok as there is no pitting.
This one says 1939 Worlds Fair San Francisco. The '39 Worlds Fair was in New York, but I still like it.

It's hard to pass up an inexpensive Henckels.
This one is a Wade and Butcher Sheffield with a blade I've never seen in a W&B before.

    Can't pass up a $3.00 Coti

I also picked up a nice vintage cast iron skillet. It was a good day[emoji3]

Very nice, Mrchick! That market of yours is a honey hole. I especially like finding coticules in the wild, and cheap! A coti edge is my favorite edge, seems to work the best with my skin. That looks like a fine stone for hand-held honing, also my fav. Congrats!

That J West looks like it could be a #14 razor.

Mrchick - I just have to ask - What do you do with all of the stuff you find - Do you keep it and add it to your collection or do you clean it up and sell it for profit? Just curious because if you keep all that stuff you find, I would think you would need a separate house to keep it in......

I keep most and sell the duplicates that I acquire in lots. I've transitioned to straights, so will probably eventually start selling off quite a few of the safety razors.
I plan on focusing on restoring my straight razors when work settles down a little.
