I'm sorry it took so long to get around to this. I've had a crazy week.

Thank you for the pictures. I love wedge razors almost as much as straights. That was a very lucky find. Maybe the next time I'm out looking at yard sales and flea markets I too might be so lucky. In the mean time, I'm very thankful for razor porn.

Today I stopped into a shop about fifty miles from the house and asked the guy behind the counter if he had any old razors. He pulled this one out of a drawer and also mentioned he had some sharpening stones but wasn't sure if any of them would work with razors. I pulled what I think might be a coticule out of the pile and bought both. I hope it's a good stone.
I won't tell you what I paid for the pair as I might start getting hate mail[emoji1]

Default A nice day at the Antiques Fair

I missed my monthly antiques fair this month because I was out of town for my Daughter's wedding. We had some time to kill before our flight home last night, so I found an antiques store by the beach. I think I scored. This razor was in a sale cabinet at a low price and appears to be in great shape. I'll clean and hone it and see. It's a Böntgen & Sabin Master Barbers
