    I will definitely hone it and try shaving. The edge is already in great shape, otherwise I would not rework it to try to make it shave ready.

    It has been wandering on the net quite a lot lately, I'm really surprised to see it landed at your place after all !

    Did you pick it at Lecurieux ?

    (For the tail, maybe it's vermeil ?)

    Bertrand Malvaux. For the tail, maybe. It seems to be a fairly nonreactive metal. I don't think I want to do any tests on it though.
