Thread: Early Star Safety's

Picked up these two oldies at a flea today. One is missing a bit or two, but then again, the attached honing guide was a plus. Gotta love those star studded handles. The Heldtite brush was kinda cute too. Last month, I could have scored the blades for these also, but that fellow wasn't around today....drat!

I like the little stars all over the handles, those look cool. Are those the kind that took the wedge shaped blades?

Yes, if you look at the honing attachment, it takes a pretty fat blade to fill that slit, and the blade mounts also have a fat taper. Wish I had picked up those blades last month!

Nice I got one last month, with the tin and blade, but I have not got round to honing it up yet sadly work is busy and I have DIY stuff going on at home, so my razor time is not plentiful at the moment.

Nice score they are great looking razors for sure.
