I have tried putting very specific items on my wish list. Everyone says pretty much the same thing. If you want shaving stuff get it yourself, it is all foreign to us. So I do. I did get some clever shirts in the non shaving related gifts. My wife and kids are very good at finding perfect t-shirts with the most clever things written on them. I suppose we are best to shop for what we know best.

I do like the t-shirts with a straight on it. I got to find some of those.

I need to stop being a cheap skate and buy one of the wade and butcher for barbers use shirts for sale on ebay.

Ironically I'm very comfortable shelling out several hundred dollars on stones or a razor, but when it comes to clothes, I wear em until they don't stay on, or don't fit haha.

It's not Christmas morning here yet, so I'm not sure if Santa is bringing me shaving goodies this year. I told my loved ones to leave it to me as my needs are covered and my wants too expensive or obscure to expect them as gifts.

My daughter made me an awesome ASL for my birthday a month ago. All organic and smells of a cedar grove after a rain. Really very nice stuff. I hope she can replicate the recipe for Christmas. That will be a treasure if she does.
Will post pics if Santa didn't listen..
Those scales look super from Shaun, merry Christmas indeed outback.
Look forward to all the eye candy to come.
    Cheers men.

Was about to post almost the exact same comment. TBH i think it's better that way. I'm too specific.

My folks tossed me some cash this year and mom said 'go get one of your razor stones'.

I think I'm sitting about 10 feet from some new Atoma plates (at the gf's house) but i won't know till the morning.

Happy Holidays gents. All the best!

John I don't think that that is shaving related, unless of course you have taken a book from Bruno's book and that is for your forge.

That would be a useful gift to me Hirlau. We're expecting the mother of all blizzards tomorrow.

Well, since I peeked at receipts, I was hoping a Dovo straight razor was coming my way, and it did. A very nice Dovo's best straight razor. It's the only modern day straight that I have. Came from the factory pretty sharp. I stropped it with my paddle strop and it's ready to go!!!

The wife bought me 2 Martin De Candre shave soaps. One original and one fougere. She showed them to me to make shure they were the right stuff but I don't get to open them until tomorrow morning. No problem...pretty cool gift
    Merry Christmas!!
