I honed it this afternoon and used it to night. To make a long story short it looks like i will look for another one like it. It honed quickly and the bevel looks even to the eye and it shaves good. Fits the hand comfortably. That little spot on the blade is just enough to see but makes no difference in honing or shaving. I wish i could photo it but I'm sure you folks out there know what I'm talking about.
