J W Guy Piccadilly 6/8 and the add said plastic but if it's got lead wedge then I think it'll be something different. The photos look good and for what i won it for I can give it a chance. I've seen the piccadilly name before but never had one in hand. I'm pretty sure it's a Sheffield.

That looks like a good shaver.

The scales have a natural look to them.

The clue to it being ivory is not the lead wedge as they were used with other scale materials but the pins sans washers. The surface where there is light reflected looks smooth and hard like teeth enamel. Bone scales, I don't think, would present that way.

Forgot to say congrats on a nice find.

From the enlargements of the photos on eBay there are no collars. The wedge could be anything like you said but I do like the looks of the older razors with lead wedges. anyway not i wait.

I'd bet a dollar to a donut it is ivory, and Piccadilly is definitely London, England. Scored again !

    Lucky dog.!
    Looks like Ivory to me.
The collarless pinning, and the bit o green around them, sure looks familiar to me.

Yea, that’s that old Elephant plastic.

So, my bride and I are at an Antique Flea Market, and she comes over, to where I am looking at some stuff, and says “Come over here and look at this razor, it looks nice, but has some cheap white plastic scales. She wanted 10 buck, but I talked her down to 6.”

You guessed it, Elephant Plastic, MK32… It cleaned up well, a shaver.

    Nice find…

I saw a carved Ivory tusk in as Antique Store case today, sign said, Not real “Ivory”, $900. Made an offer, waiting a reply…

This one came today and it seems in pretty good condition. at the very edge the is a black spot that turns out to be a small pit with the makings of a crack. the crack is not all the way through so I will hone it out. I will loose about 1/64 of an inch from the edge but that's really nothing. other than that the razors in good condition and the scales are made out of a tooth.
