It says what i posted and the Germany is sideways on the back of the tang. Figuring it to be 1930s. Just shooting for the middle of what i found for history on it. Im going to get a good look at it this.weekend and determin if i can re-pin. The pins dont look right and one is missing the washer. Thinking maybe i can try the drill to unpin. Still , ill wait for my weekend.

Im hoping i can give tje new buffer and compounds a real test out on the first razor. See how much polish/shine i can get out of it. It was cheep so no loss if it dont turn out nice. I'll try to get some pics durring the process. If i dont get too excited.

I have one with that "Improved Eagle Razor" etch. Mine says "Garland Cutlery Co." on the tang along with "Germany."

I especially like that second one! Regarding unpinning, I have found a pair of flush cutters (found in the craft stores) work well to snip off the heads of pins without damaging the scales. Just cut one end off and then tap out the pin

Good finds, but I try to stay away from unpinning unless the scales need it. The more handling and manipulation it gets the more likely there will be an "oops". And yes, speaking from personal experience
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
