I have a razor with a fancy spine and it is weird to strop it because I have to modify my roll or it is kind of scratchy right at the roll. So I do a lift and flip and then back down on the leather. I have a gold wash blade that I strop like that too, so it does not wipe off any more of the wash than absolutely needed.

That took some serious waiting, and it looks like it was worth the wait, nice razor.
