Patience
I've been waiting six months, to get my hands on this one.
It was given to a friend of mine, who is a barber, by one of his customers.
I'd asked him if he would part with it, he said he wanted to give the guy who gave it to him, a shave, first. Then we'd talk about it. Story short..its mine, but I had to wait, and be patient.
And he never shaved the guy. He was afraid the spine would gouge his strop.

Wow! Mike! another great score. Your barber still does shaves? Did it scratch your strop?

Aloha!
That is an awesome razor, Mike! Congrats. The scales remind me of the Oxford Razor Company (Germany) "Barber's Choice" I picked up earlier this year. It's been on the bench awaiting a restoration and honing. I may get to it this week putting it ahead of others. We'll see.
Love the spine and those scales on your Boker. She's a beauty.
Enjoy!

He only does the neck, and around the ears. I still need to clean it up, and skip it across the rocks, before it gets stropped. I figured he would have me hone it for him, before he was going to shave this guy, being all he's got is a barbers hone. And it needs help.
I hone the ones he use's all the time, and restore ones he gets or already has.
That's how we met. I was looking for razors....he was looking for someone to fix them. He gives me a handful, tells me which ones he wants, I get the rest for payment. Trade n barter works for me.!! [emoji41]Mike
