    Default Interesting Wade & Butcher

Just finished this Wade & Butcher.
It's a Celebrated Feather Edge Concave Razor.
I don't ever recall seeing one like it.

The scales are horn and are actually translucent at the wedge end.
The wedge is made out of the scale material which was left a bit higher on each side.
    Took a beautiful edge.
I'm happy to add this one to the Sheffield herd.

    Thanks Matt!

Mike, Tom probably has a drawer full of these hidden away.

Thanks Tuzi! It means a lot coming from someone that does your caliber of restoration.
I do the best I can the old fashioned way...all by hand. No fancy power tools here.

    Mike,

I figure that you're one of the few guys here that does things in the old school way.
With all the high tech gizmo's these days we're a dying breed.
I've yet to try the dremel on a razor though.

Its not for all, and takes a bit to get the hang of. But I'll tell ya, doing circles is the best way to keep things even.

And make a magnetic blade holder, gives you the best control with the dremmel.
