What a nice set of gear, a spectacular deal, and a wonderful story to top it off.

I am by no means an expert. But this photo is after one pass. I have not had so little skin irritation and after my full bbs three pass no "burn"'. I'm inclined that the razor is the difference. Went from totally nervous to insanely exited in one stroke of the blade.

That is a great story and wonderful luck. I think I would be inclined to go back to that woman with a bouquet of flowers or chocolate or at least a heartfelt followup thank you.

So, other than all the great bonus stuff, what else was in the bag? If there was a Livi razor in there, then banning procedures must be commenced immediately!

Very cool! Just goes to show you never know what you will find at flea markets!

What a great deal. I go to flea markets all the time and have never found anything nearly that nice. That shaving bowl is extra sweet. Good job.

Nothing that was instantly cool. A couple boxes I'm looking a bit deeper into. Some bits and pieces from strops nothing inherently identifiable but some cool project stuff. Couple beat blades with fun shapes but nothing recoverable. Nothing that say Livi...Don't even know what it is.

An amazingly fortunate find along with a great backstory. Congratulations on the incredible karma and enjoy those shaves!

Just saw his site. Pretty sure the jump to $1000+ razors is not my next thing. Though he does have a basic line for 350 that is lovely.
