Mother of pearl Worcester Razor Co.
Just returned from Alabama and my sons wedding. The wedding went well but was rather disappointed in most of the antique shops I visited. Did find this fairly nice Worcester Razor Co. with pearl scales. Almost passed it up as it smaller than what i like and has some pitting but thought the scales might be worth it. Don't usually buy SRs to sell (and it was over what i like to spend) but took a gamble and am hoping to make a few bucks.(to fund other razor purchases of course).

Great looking razor Vern with killer scales.
All Worcester, Ma. razors are special to me seeing that is where I was born and raised.
Hope it turns out well and you make a few bucks to boot.

Thanked: 4827I have spent some duckets on less than desirable razors with beautiful scales. I can see were the attraction is. Ditch the blade and find a great blade to go with the great scales.

If the pearl is not broken, that is a rare find. Those things can be addictive, Tintin!
I created a set of 7 different American 6/8+ razors with barber's notches in those scales a while back.
A bit tedious to work with. Never try to tighten the pins-up. They crack easily.
Looks like someone already did collars on the top. Most all of them are collarless like your bottom pin.
I did a thread about them.....Here it is!
