I just knew they were 'pressed' as the letters are raised!

The scale pressers really fascinate me because they’re so little talked about. Almost all the information I can find about them is from directory listings that say no more than ‘this guy existed’.

One of these days I’m going to try and dig in further... Right now I’m working on on the Little Masters — by accident, thanks to connections I’ve made researching William Stenton.
