Thanked: 2284I'm OK paying a little extra for good quality razors, but when they have odd ball razors, that they do a google search on, find nothing and think it must be a rare piece so let's stick $300 on it. Makes me laugh.

Thanked: 480Hone sure looks like a Frictionite to me. THough they did make similar "not 00" hones. But it could very well be a stone worthy of more than being taken to the tool shed.

Thanked: 2284Well maybe I should give it a bit of a clean, and then test it on some razors. See what kind of an edge I can pull from it, before I demote it to work chisels.
