    Default J. R. Torrey frameback

Just arrived yesterday. A little cleaning, polishing and honing was all she needed. Shaved with her this morning. Fantastic.

First Torrey I have seen with "J. R. Torrey- Manuf of Razors & Strops - Worcester, Mass.".

Could not believe I was winning bid. Only $15 with shipping included. I generally go for vintage SHEFFIELD wedges or near wedges. But also love shave of a frameback.

I've got a few Wostenholms like that, never seen a Torrey in that style.

I have Gilchrist as a saved search on Ebay. You just don't see them often, kinda like Mappins.
