Very Cool! Now....What Turner? Looks suspiciously like Johnathan Turner soon to head to Connecticut.
    Or not?

    Haven't done any research yet.

Is this considered a concave grind? That was the closest thing I saw on the chart I checked.

It is the hollow grind of the day. The blade was ground lengthwise.
    Called a Rattler as well.

"Ground lengthwise" I was trying to think of the best way to articulate that. Thank you for doing it for me. First razor of mine that is ground lengthwise.

Thomas Turner is possible. First name is usually on those, though.

Very nice, Josh. Them ol rattlers are a treat to shave with.

Should clean up, with some nice character left over.

Think of the skill it took to grind a blade like that, and get it heat treated, back in those days.

Just awesome that u found one, bro.

Yes, very nice condition too. Those are often referred to as a xfaux frame back," but the proper term is rattler as has been said. I have always been impressed with the skill and attention to detail it took to grind those. That one especially shows great skill. Look at how precise the lines are in that view from the point. What is your max blade width on that one?

I wonder if this was made during the trustee period between 1845-1850 therefore not bearing the first name.

It looks like a good candidate for bog oak dust repair too.
