Jesus that scuttle is big... that's got to be like holding up a bowling ball or something.

Angskar gave me a good deal on the super scuttle, because some glaze dripped onto the outer surface of the small bowl and a small amount in the center of the big bowl.

Technically you might call it a factory second, but I think the two drips of glaze add to the scuttle's character and does not affect the useability of this scuttle.

So what are we talking for price for either one of those things? I have a makeshift scuttle, or as I like to call it my "ghetto scuttle" that I made out of a puck dish and a big soup cup. It works just fine, but I feel a bit ghettotastic everytime I fire it up. I'm going to ask for a scuttle as a present, for some occasion...sometime.

Actually, I dont really think you need that small one since you have that mammoth sized one. You may as well send it my way. I'm sure its a tax write off... See, then I could ask for a new brush instead. That makes more sense all the way around...

Like I said, the georgetown scuttle is my backup.

    So...

If a bad guy breaks into my house and he "happens" to fall and hit his head several times on my super scuttle, then when our local law enforcement shows up, the CSI guys will see that he was armed with a very clean "throwdown scuttle" that the bad guy tried to unsuccessfully attack me with in the middle of the night.

    Hey... it could happen

That is of course if you guys don't rat me out!!

Nah, I used to be stationed in Sierra Vista and I still have my CC permit for AZ, I'd just shoot him several times. No need to hurt any shaving gear. It Arizona for crying out loud, they practically EXPECT you to shoot them. Thats just the way it goes.

Seriously though, what did that G-town Scuttle cost you, I am going to have to get one. Unless you think its worth it to just go ahead and by the big one from the get go. And in that case, how much did IT cost?

The Georgetown Pottery scuttle cost me $46.00 (that included shipping). You need to go to their website to look at the colors of the glaze. They do not however have any examples of the scuttle on the website.

The glaze color of my scuttle is "Hamada Blue".
