No problem. I picked it up at an antique mall a while back. I don't know much about hones, but I think it's pretty cool.

Is there anyone that would want to sell one of those little lizards?

I've been reading so much about these razors lately, and there don't seem to be many out there for sale. Please let us know how it shaves once you get a chance.

I know Glen aka Gssixgun has some lizards and has shaved with them. IIRC he rates them highly. I will hone this one at some point, but believe it or not, I haven't yet. I buck the trend and normally shave with the same razor daily for months before retiring it and moving on to the next one; the upside of this approach is that I know my razors backwards and forwards and commit their shaving ability to memory. The downside is that I have some fine razors, like this one that won't see the hones for months or even a few years even for a first shave.

Thanked: 953My GL razor has a lightly embossed lizard that looks just like that. It's so light I only saw it when I magnified the pic of the razor on ebay, and I'm not sure the seller realized it was a GL. Coolest razor to look at but a bear to hone for me so far. Like the feel of it = very firm.

Just won this one by 0.46 seconds! I think it was off the radar because "razor" was nowhere in the title.
Cattaraugus Green Lizard - eBay (item 230322196498 end time Feb-03-09 15:57:05 PST)
Hoping it'll clean up nice. Dunno if $35 is a good price for it, but it looks like a fun one that'll clean up nice. Just the one worrysome spot on the back of the scales.
And if the guy I beat out is a member- sorry- couldn't advertise this one

Thanked: 953awesome!
I got a lizard for a good price too for a similar reason - I think it didn't mention it was a green lizard and it spelled cattaraugus wrong or something.
