    Very nice box. Looks antique, like it has been handed down through the generations. I'm working with Tim on a new box that I think is going to be great. He is a really good guy to work with.

    Tim did the plaque in maple as a raised inlay....the edges caught some of the walnut stain, giving it an antiqued look. As I sanded it, the structure lent itself to the "aged" look. Thin layers of satin poly give it depth, but also keep it from looking "new".

    The price depends on the wood used, of course. For this one, walnut and maple. Time tweaked the graphic so it would come out nicely from his engraver. All told, with hinges (and mortises for the hinges!) - $60.00.

    That was all the pieces and parts and then I assembled and finished it. Tim will also send you the box all finished, for an additional fee I would guess. He lets you know ahead of time to total cost and then ou can PayPal him.
