I used to own a ESPE -- hard steel (typical German). It performed well for me with a properly honed edge. The Hess is awesome! I love big blades.

Those are some slick new blades. Any chance of seeing one or more in person?
My loved ones seem to have realized that I'm rather picky about blades, so the main gift came in the form of "tell me something razor related that you would like, how much it costs, and then go buy it for yourself."

Holli, Hi it's Karen, I will make sure Joe brings all 3 on Sat. Any others that you can think of that he can bring. It's a bit much to bring everything. He can bring his new Chinese stone too.
