Darwin hollow ground single edge
Check this out. I don't know much about it but is is cool. The handle screws into the blade to hone the edge. I haven't cleaned it up yet. The strop is in poor shape but is there and the strop mechinism works. The strop has two sides one stamped fine and the other corse.

that was a very interesting design!
I am relatively new to this, is this a common thing with the non-disposable blades?

Looks very much like Rolls Razor, except the rolls razors have a strop on one side and a hone on the other but the mechanism looks similar.

Nice, I have thought about getting one but haven't found the right price yet. I have a Rolls and it shaves great. I just love the hollow ground non-disposable safety razors You could probably even replace the leather if you wanted to, if you can get the old scraped off of there.

Thanked: 480I have seen a few show up on ebay from time to time. Not terribly expensive. I think it might have been Geezer who said he has one as well?
